Adaira and I would like to introduce you to the LitEM, HAEMR’s first article club – a book club appropriated to your busy residency schedule! Every month we will pick medical and non-medical articles that take less than 30 minutes to read and gather together to discuss them -whenever possible-with the author! The goal: to reflect on literary works and become better, happier humans – with the added perk of 1 hour of ASL credit!

This month’s INAUGURAL meeting will feature EM physician, New York Times op-ed contributor and writer for The Guardian, Dr. Farzon Nahvi. We will be discussing his piece Police Officers Need to Get Better at CPR featured in the New York Times (https://nyti.ms/2jRLpFC)
